About us

Who we are

We came to this from different backgrounds: psychology, sport, statistics, teaching, and a good deal of ordinary life. What we had in common was the experience of watching good systems fail people quietly, and of being inside those systems while it happened. So we did what our training tells us to do with something that keeps repeating: we treated it as a problem worth studying rather than a run of bad luck.

A boy who joins an academy at ten and is told at nineteen that he is finished. A graduate who leaves a job within the first year and cannot quite say why. And the other side of the same story, a club that loses a player it spent a decade developing, or a manager who concludes that this generation simply does not want to work. Different worlds, same shape: a system that is excellent at its technical task and unpractised at the human one, and a handful of transition points that belong to nobody's job description.

That is the layer we work on. We are academics, psychologists, therapists and statisticians, which means we argue with each other productively and we do not take a claim seriously until someone has tried to measure it.

We are also clear about what we are not: we are not coaches, we are not an HR department, and we do not provide therapy inside the organisations we advise. When someone needs that support, our role is to design and build the route to it.

Where we work

Where we are

People move through life-changing transitions every day. A young athlete enters an elite academy. A graduate takes their first step into professional life. An organisation welcomes a new generation of employees with different expectations, values, and ways of working.

Most systems are built to achieve technical excellence, yet few are designed for the human experience of change. People are recruited, trained, promoted, and evaluated, but the moments where confidence, identity, motivation, and belonging are shaped are often left to chance.

That is where we work.

We design evidence-based psychological and organisational solutions that help individuals thrive and organisations build environments where people can grow, perform, and belong. Every programme is tailored to the unique needs of the people and institutions we work with.
